You may wonder how did Fiddes and Sons come to have distribution in Australia? Fiddes Australia is owned by two Melbourne based women – Melissa and Tracie.
Mel’s background is as a flooring contractor who specialised in using environmentally friendly products. Whilst researching other products around the world she discovered Fiddes and Sons in Cardiff, Wales and requested some samples. And this is where it all began!! Mel fell in love with the products finding them superior quality and easier to use then the other products available in Australia.
Once other flooring contractor’s started seeing the results she was getting using Fiddes they started asking if they could purchase product from her. In dealing directly with the 4th generation owner of Fiddes and Sons in Wales Robert Fiddes, Mel was offered the exclusive distribution rights for Australia and New Zealand. This was when Tracie jumped on board and Fiddes Australia was born! Today Fiddes Australia has offices and warehouse in Ringwood in Melbourne and has distribution across Australia (New Zealand stay tuned….).
